Creative Ads Reviewing

Creative-based campaigns (Sponsored Display, Sponsored Brand Display, Sponsored Video, Sponsored Brand Video) require an approval step before ads can start serving.
This ensures that all creatives comply with platform policies, technical standards, and brand safety requirements.

Review Flow

  1. Advertiser Uploads Creative

    • Advertiser creates a campaign and uploads creative assets (image, video, or script).
    • Campaign status remains in Pending Review until the creative is approved.
  2. Admin Review

    • Admins can access all pending creatives in Ad → Ad Review.
    • This interface allows admins to:
      • View all submitted creatives across advertisers.
      • Filter by status (pending, approved, rejected).
      • Approve or reject based on policy and technical checks.
  3. Creative Details

    • To see the details of a specific creative, go to Ad → Creatives.
    • Here, admins can:
      • Inspect creative files (images, videos, HTML snippets).
      • Check linked products.
      • Verify redirect URLs.
      • Review size, duration, and format validations.

Statuses

  • Pending Review – Creative has been submitted and is waiting for admin approval.
  • Approved – Creative passed checks and is eligible for ad serving.
  • Rejected – Creative failed validation or policy requirements. Advertiser must re-upload or fix the issue.

Notes for Admins

  • Approval is mandatory for all creative campaigns. Ads will not be delivered until approval is complete.
  • Size and format validation is automated, but content review requires manual verification.
  • Keep logs of rejections with clear reasons (e.g., “Invalid size”, “Policy violation”) for transparency.
